The Cell Phone & Brain Tumors Connection
Mar 24th, 2010 by mrdisc0

Talk, Talk, Talk – cell phones have given our society a means to always keep in contact.  Walking to your car – might as well call someone, in the super market buying food – heck, call up that old friend to chat about work.  In a movie theater watching a movie, shoot why not – call your mom.  At least there’s a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow…

I like shortcuts, they make my life easier. They can make your life easier too, but first you need to know them.  Knowing things is important.

Instructional Videos are great, they help people that would normally not understand things the first time around. Instead of bothering the same person over and over asking them, “How do you do this?” , “Show me again?” , “I forgot! I need help.”  They can just play the darn video over till some sort of OMG moment happens and everything clicks.  At least that’s what I’d like to believe in my own little fantasy world (from the fact I’m not sipin’ Cristal on a yacht somewhere in the Caribbean it’s not working out too well. Oh well.)

I should get hazard pay, computers are dangerous!
Jun 10th, 2009 by mrdisc0
Ouch! I'm hurt.

Ouch! I'm hurt.

With the backing of the ABC News department I now believe is the time for me to ask for hazard pay or some kind of “we’re sorry” we didn’t know your job was so hard on your health.  The number of bruises, cuts, eye strain, and not to mention what computer have done to me emotionally/socially – I think I’m owed about $2.7 million dollars (give or take a buck).   On a serious note, I wonder how many insurance companies are now scheming to raise the rates for people that work with computers.

Hard Drive Purchasing Web Site (and a Large Bunny)
Jun 8th, 2009 by mrdisc0

I don’t remember how I found this,  I do remember saying, “Wow, that’s really neat. Let me bookmark it and post it sometime.”  That was 2 weeks ago.  It’s a web site that does a search for hard drives based on certain specification for finding good deals at newegg.com.

Where did all my space go?
Apr 28th, 2009 by mrdisc0

hdI love downloadsquad.com, they always find me stuff I can use.  Today, they showed me Space Sniffer – a really nice visual tool that shows you where all your drive space is being used and by what.
